I've been talking about it, and I finally did it! I released “Outta The Woods.” If you read my last blog, you know I had concerns about samples I used in the track and copyrights. Well, this is my “soft release” to see if I get taken down with any type of copyright warnings from YouTube, and so far so good. Now I feel a little more confident that any of the streamers won't reject it as well. Of course maybe all these Blogs about it will eventually incriminate me? I hope not! Don't tell!
But enough talk… Click below to take a listen. But before you do! Do me a favor. Please try and give a listen on some good speakers or headphones. Anything like iPhone speakers, or even TV speakers, really don't give the full vibe of the track. Hope you like it!
As you can hear, the atmosphere is completely different than what I've released so far. Ethereal and ambient. The music video is simple, we're in a forest and we're being watched. As I've noted before, it's about the music, the video just gives you something to watch while you're listening. This may be the last “official single” before my album is released. Don't want to give it all up to you guys! Anyway, read on to see wha't going on with the rest of “Electric Kingdom!”
“Electric Kingdom” is still in full swing production-wise. I've got 2 tracks that are in production, “Assimilation” and “Revive." They are being composed and sequenced as you read this. I also have 1 track over at Vacation Village getting mixed by our very own Byron Kane. That would be the title track, “Electric Kingdom.” It has a very simple Kraftwerk vibe.
In other personal news, I had a nice little side musical project going on. I've now been playing keys a couple times a month for my local church. Had my first two worship Sunday sessions these past couple of weeks. They went a lot better than I expected, as I thought I was going to be completely rusty. But I was able to hang, with minimal embarrassing moments. :-) My rig is simple, just my trusty Yamaha MX88, the most underrated performance synth out there. Stellar sounds, weighted/graded keys, yet extremely lightweight to gig with. Looking forward to playing for church more in the future.

That's it for now. Really hope you like the track. Feel free to give me some positive (or any) feedback in the comments. It will be better than seeing all the Russian/Ukrainian language spam that tries to make it's way onto my site. :-(
Thanks for tuning in!
